Pat Farrington (Patricia) was a producer for the BBC. She worked on Look and Read (Sky Hunter, The Boy from Space and Dark Towers), Thinkabout Science (BAFTA nomination, 1990), You and Me and other series for BBC Schools Television between 1977 and 1996. Along with three or four other directors in Schools TV in the 1980s, she helped to give children a voice in programmes made for them. For example, children sang many of the songs, did pieces to camera and voice-overs and, in drama programmes, child characters were featured as protagonists. Apart from television programmes, Pat has also had a number of articles and poems published.
